At Spot Dog Walkers, we offer flexible pricing designed to work for both occasional users and regular dog owners.

One-time or occasional bookings (not part of a recurring schedule).
Recurring Walks
Walks scheduled for the same day, time, length, and dog count each week. (e.g., 12:00 - 1:00pm every, Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

What to expect on the day of your walk(s).

Arrival Timeframe

At Spot, we use an arrival timeframe for your walks. Your walker will arrive within the selected window, not at an exact time. For example, if you select an arrival timeframe of 12:00pm - 1:00pm, your walker will arrive at some point between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. All timeframes begin on the top of the hour. Each timeframe must be at least one hour long, but can extend over several hours if needed.

Walker is on their way

If you have requested to receive a heads up, you will receive a text message or email notification when your walker is on their way to your home. This notification will be sent approximately 15-30 minutes before the start of the arrival timeframe.

Home Entry

You will receive a text message from the support number your walker has arrived. Your walker will enter your home using the provided entry instructions you have provided. If you have to buzz your walker in, please have your phone handy during the arrival timeframe. For more information on home entry please see our Home Entry page.

The Walk

The walker will leash, harness, your dog using your walk equipment, and take your dog for their private, on-leash and GPS tracked walk for the duration of your walk. During the walk, your walker will be adding comments, photos and videos to the walk report.

After the walk

When the walk is complete, you will receive a text message or email with a link to the walk report. In the walk report, you can leave walker feedback and a rating of your walk. You can also provide a tip for your walker if you wish to do so.

Your Confirmed Schedule

You will receive a SMS or Email confirming your walk schedule when setting up your account, and any additional walks you schedule.

Editing Your Schedule

To change your walk schedule, please contact Spot Support. We will be happy to help you make any changes you need whether it be the dates or times of your walks.

Adding Extra Walks

If you are in need of an extra walk on top of your recurring walk or when booking sporadically just message Spot Support and we will add it to your schedule, followed by a confirmation SMS or Email.

Cancelling

Cancelling your walks is easy. You can cancel your walks up until the day of the walk. If you would like to cancel a walk, just text or call Spot Support!

Same Day Cancellations

In the event of a same-day cancellation Spot will charge a $12 cancellation fee. This fee will increase to the full cost of the walk if within 90-minutes of the start of the arrival timeframe.

Last Minute Cancellations

A last-minute cancellation is any cancellation made within 90-minutes of the start of the arrival timeframe. Spot will charge the full cost of the walk, or, remove a walk from your package for any last-minute cancellations.

At Spot we will always do our best to provide you with the same walker(s) for your walks. However, we cannot guarantee the same walker(s) every-time. Below is a brief overview of how walkers are assigned to your walks.

Recurring Walks

When on a recurring walk schedule, you will have a dedicated walker(s) assigned to your schedule. This walker(s) will be the one(s) who arrives for your walks, in the case of a cancellation we will provide a backup walker to complete your walks.

Sporadic/Regular Walks

When booking walks on a sporadic or regular basis, we will assign available walkers to your scheduled walks, whenever possible we will assign repeat walkers to your walks.

Walker Consistency

We don't guarantee the same walker every-time, although we are good at providing walker consistency whenever possible.

Selecting A Specific Walker

Although we don't guarantee the same walker every-time, if you would like to select a specific walker for your walks, please contact Spot Support. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that the walker will be available for all your walks.

Walk Packages

Spot offers 5-walk (Save 5%) and 10-walk (Save 10%) packages, these save you 5% and 10%. Walks in your package are not tied to your schedule, never expire and can be used at any time. If your walk package is set to auto-renew, when the last walk in your package is used, you will be automatically charged for a new package.

Recurring Walks

Recurring walks come with our biggest savings of 15% off our standard walk pricing. Recurring walks are walks booked on the same day and time every week (Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday with an arrival timeframe of 12:00pm - 1:00pm).

Billing Cycle

If you are on a recurring walk schedule, you will be billed every 10 walks. If you are booking on a sporadic basis with a walk package, you will be billed once the last walk in your package is completed.

Additional Charges

When booking walks same-day variable pricing will be in effect. Depending on the time of booking and time until the walk arrival timeframe extra charges up to $10.00 may be added to the walk cost regardless of a package.

Holidays / Extreme Weather

Spot Dog Walks are never cancelled due to holidays or extreme weather.

Holidays

With the exception of Christmas Day, any booked walks will occur as scheduled. We ask that any cancellations required for holidays be made at least the day before the walk.

Extreme Weather

Spot Dog Walks are never cancelled due to extreme weather. We will always do our best to ensure your dog gets their walk in a safe manner. If you would like to cancel your walk due to extreme weather, please contact Spot Support.
