Your arrival location is the address where the walker will reach to retrieve your pup and begin the walk. In case your dog goes from household to household, you can easily edit your arrival location with the information written below. Here is how you can edit your arrival location.
Once you've opened the Spot app, you can navigate to, and click on, the 3 lines in the top left-hand corner of the home screen.
That will open a sidebar menu, and from there you can click on the "My Pups" icon, contained within the orange band, near the top of the sidebar menu.
In the page which opens, "Arrival Location" will be the first field you can see. Tap the orange pencil, and you can change your address to somewhere else.
Once you've finished editing your pickup location, you can tap the "Confirm Address" button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I change my location often?
For the time being, Spot doesn't offer multiple addresses for your pup's pickup location. Until this feature is added, please change your location should your pup's pickup location be different.
- What if my location is outside the guaranteed service area?
Within our service areas of Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver, some regions where Spot experiences low demand are "no guarantee" service areas, meaning we do our very best to ensure a walker arrives for you, though we can't guarantee one will! In case you live in one of our no-guarantee service areas, please feel free to still try scheduling walk requests. If you make your requests further in advance, your likelihood of a walker arriving will be far greater.
