Walker Training
Our dog walkers don't have any specific walk training. With so many different techniques and philosophies of dog training out there (often conflicting with each other), Spot prefers to lean into walker meet-and-greets, where your dog and the walker have a chance to naturally gauge each other's compatibility.
Benefits of Meet and Greets
During walker meet-and-greets, you can educate your walker about certain behaviours to prohibit from your dog, commands that they should use, and habits which your dog might have; anything that can help them do their best job possible is great! For example, if your pup tends to leap towards rodents, you can inform your walker, and she or he can know to be extra careful during the walk.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Spot offer dog training sessions?
Spot doesn't offer dog training at this time. If we offered training, we'd want to hire the best team of dog trainers out there; it's something we'd like to do in the future, but we're not quite there yet!
Can I request a dog walker with more experience?
Absolutely yes. After creating your dog walk request, a list of walkers will start responding, and you can choose the walker with the most 5-star reviews or recurring clients.
